Jennifer Williams to Broaden Lake Champlain Regional Chamber’s Tourism Communications
BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce (LCRCC), the state’s largest business organization, has secured Jennifer Williams to work with the Chamber’s marketing and public affairs team.
“Expanding awareness and interaction by fostering inclusiveness for locals and travelers is key to our communications efforts. We plan to reinforce the state’s reputation as a travel destination with consistent messaging of Vermont as a thriving place to live, work and play,” said Catherine Z. Davis, the Chamber’s vice president of public affairs. “With Jen’s experience working within State tourism and marketing, the ski industry and the Vermont Arts Council, we are well positioned to highlight the variety and character of our Vermont communities.”
Williams will develop and manage tourism-specific media relations, website content, newsletters and social media as part of the Chamber’s on-going efforts to strengthen tourism, a vital economic contributor to the region.
The Chamber and Williams will collaborate with regional stakeholders; organizations, partner chambers, businesses, and state agencies for development of content and earned media.
