In all seriousness, amid the process of making “Please Vote” signs with stencils cut from a local business owner (shoutout Kathryn Cramer!) and signs and stakes recycled from past regional campaigns (shoutout Michael Fergot!), I’m happily drawing some parallels to public service:
- They are unique, not cookie-cutter
- They’re humble but made with pride, in hopes of greeting you on this shared path we call home
- Sure, they take more time, and the process is messy, but aren’t most things that are worth it?
Last but not least, a giant shout out to the dozens of Westport-Wadhams residents and friends who have asked to place a sign in their yard. Thanks for your support!
We’re going to need more spray paint.
